On July 26, 1990, President George H.W. Bush signed the Americans With Disabilities Act into Law. This landmark legislation made it illegal to discriminate against individuals with disabilities - and went on to transform countless American lives - from career opportunities to accommodations in public spaces. Spring '24 grad Leah Burnett has been invited to pursue her passion as an Immigrant Justice Corps fellow.
